Colby Davis was founded in Boston by mother-daughter team Lia Davis Lombara and her daughters, Lexi Colby and Taylor Davis Lombara. Rooted in artistry, craftsmanship, and meaningful design, the brand was born from a shared love of jewelry, travel, and family.
With a Fine Arts degree from Boston College and jewelry studies at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts, Lia built her career around the timeless art of glass enamel jewelry. Inspired by the craftsmanship of early 20th century enamel work, she set out to revive the tradition through handcrafted sterling silver, 18K gold, and gold vermeil jewelry made in the USA.
During a family trip to Greece in 2014, Lexi and Taylor joined Lia in creating a collection that felt both sophisticated and personal. Inspired by their travels and close bond, the trio designed the now-signature Compass Rose pendant, engraved with the message: “Life brings us to unexpected places, love brings us home.” Today, it remains one of the brand’s most iconic and beloved designs.
Now more than a decade later, Lexi and Taylor continue to play integral roles in the family business, with a shared passion for creating meaningful messages behind every pendant. The collection has grown to include signature glass enamel pendants, charm bracelets, custom necklaces, rings, and lifestyle pieces inspired by New England living.
Designed to be layered, mixed, and personalized, each Colby Davis piece is crafted in Massachusetts using traditional glass enameling techniques, engraving, sterling silver, and 18K gold details. Every design reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and timeless style.
